Women Who Dare

Benicia Library:  August 16 – September 18, Reception: August 23
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, Bay Area Studio Artists paint women who have dared on both large and small scales.  To have careers, to seek and use political power, to have independent lives, to find their own paths to fulfillment.  And to shape the world we live in every day.

Diversity Among Us

Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery:  Month of September, Reception: tbd
The Lamorinda Arts Alliance is a diverse group of artists, each on a unique artistic journey, whose work reflects their experiences, dreams, passion and heritage.  The exhibit will feature the common threads of our collective visions while recognizing our differences as we view beauty, harmony, nature, our environment, and humanity.

Favorite Paintings

John Muir Hospital Aspen Surgery Center:  October 10 – November 20
The long hallway wall at the John Muir Hospital Aspen Surgery Center will be home to some of our favorite paintings.  All shapes, sizes and subject matter.  If you don’t have a reason to be at the surgery center (and we hope you don’t), why not stop by just to see some art.
